Advancements not loading in newly generated world

I have just started getting myself back into Minecraft and part of the game that I love & remember dearly is when you start to complete advancements and your progression notification pops up. I’m not having anything show up at all on my screen on PC for advancements. I generate a new world, punch a tree, collect the wood and nothing pops up. It’s small but annoying and I just hope it’s something quick and easy to fix; maybe it’s others, maybe it’s not. I’ve tried all the DIY options trying to get everything sorted but nothing has worked.
