[MC-297231] The loading bar can go backwards

Steps to reproduce the issue:

Step 1: Open Minecraft ( or make minecraft appears in the loading screen )

Step 2: Load any resource pack ( to have more proof of the issue )

Results: The loading bar can go both backwards and forwards.

This can happen when Minecraft is unable to load a resource in a resource pack.

Hi! It's a pretty strange error, but I think the point is that you need to check the integrity of the game files, otherwise try reinstalling the game. If there are any mods or resource packs, also try to delete them. If it doesn't help, it's java or your graphics card's drivers, just update them to the latest version.

Hey Benats I already tried it with vanilla minecraft, i also deleted the game but none of them worked. I’m on Macos right now and the mac version is up to date. My java is 20 i think so i guess it’s all good. It’s probably my hardware issue though. Still hope that Minecraft will fix this!
