Attempting to exit on Linux floods root partition with core dumps

Whenever I attempt to exit the game, the game sits on a black screen for a while before crashing. In that time, my root partition would be flooded until there was 0mb left. [[A LOT]] of core dumps are created, and are only deleted when systemd limits the size of the core dump folder to 4GB.

I know this isn’t an issue with my specific system, as I’ve had the same things happen on previous installs and my laptop. I couldn’t find anything online about this, nor in the issue tracker.
