This pumpkin is in an unreasonable place

Despite their total absence from the fossil record, ample evidence suggests that large seabirds once roamed the overworld. From pumpkins and terrestrial flowers on isolated islands to subtle behavioral quirks among the guardians and polar bears, the legacy of these majestic creatures continues to inspire Minecrafters to this very day. We can only hope that we will come to understand the reasons for their disappearance… lest we ourselves fall victim to a calamity of similar magnitude.

But seriously, this report does not describe a bug. Nothing in the game’s code or in Mojang’s communications suggests that pumpkins are only intended to generate on larger landmasses. This report will be resolved as Invalid.
