Start by placing a normal trial spawner on the ground, then use the debug stick to adjust its state so that it becomes an ominous trial spawner. Place a spawn egg inside the ominous trial spawner and switch the game mode to survival to activate it. When you kill all the monsters that spawn, a normal trial key is spit out from the mouth of the ominous trial spawner.
The drop was taken away, and the contents of the ominous trial spawner were gone, so I threw a wither into the ominous trial spawner. After activating it, the wither spawned out normally, but the chosen creature in the ominous trial spawner was the first time I placed it. When we saw a wither running out of the spawner, I think I was unlucky to be spit out the bread, and theoretically there is still a chance of a normal key this time.
Place a normal vault on the ground and use the debug stick to change it to an ominous vault. However, you seem to have just changed its appearanceβthis ominous vault is opened directly with the normal trial key, and the drops are also from the normal pool. When using the normal ominous trial key against the ominous vault, it rejected my request but gave me the advancement.
It doesn't seem to matter that only creative mode triggers this issue, but it ruined my save because everything in the map I made was tweaked this way.
It's worth noting that if I put a happy ghast in the ominous trial spawner, it won't come out properly. I didn't do any research on it due to lack of space or the wrong location.
