in every dimension after eating a golden apple the Absorption effect should last for 2 mins but if u use an ender pearl after eating the golden apple it goes away instantly is this a bug?

The effect goes away when you lose all your yellow hearts, which happens after you throw an ender pearl because doing so makes you take 5 (2.5 hearts) fall damage. If you do /gamerule fallDamage false and then test you can see that the effect remains.
