All equipped armor disappeared when loaded the 1.21.6 update.

I recently updated to the new 1.21.6 update. First i played on my creative world where everything seems fine. Then I loaded my survival world and noticed all my armor that I had equipped disappeared. No other items from my inventory where afected. When triing other survival words where also not afected just one. The world was playd on Optifine mod for some time, dint know if that can have something to do with this bug but better to note it.

Optifine probably had nothing to do with this situation because it's graphical mod, but it depends on whether you use forge because if so, it may be forge's fault.

I think you have a problem with the game files, try checking their integrity.

@Benats Stop telling to people to “check their game file integrity”. This advice almost always provides little to no value on any of the reports it’s being left on, and very likely will not solve the issue or confirm it. Please consider this a formal warning to think more deeply on the advice or questions you are leaving on reports first, as lately you have already been corrected numerous times on the comments you are posting.

@TRNSKI I don't think i ever used forged but I could be mistaken the world is quite old and was passed through several devices and I dont really remember every action of my younger self. If you can explain how using forged could impact this kind of bug I will be more then glad to hear. I am always happi to learn more about how this game functions.

@Jingy Good to hear that I don't need to learn about game files and all that, for me it is a small issue. The world is established and the armor can be replaced quite quickly. But I want people who know much more about the game than me to know. They maybe can understand the isue and help to fixed it and make the game we all love beter.

The problem is that we cannot provide support for modified versions of Minecraft. If you've used OptiFine before in this world and you're going to provide us with the world file for inspection, we will only see that the world has been opened in a modified version, which effectively voids support. If you can recreate the issue in a fresh, new vanilla world, I am happy to follow up. However, in its current state, the world could be corrupted from having been opened with a modified, and therefore officially unsupported, version of Minecraft.
