Ghasts not dropping music disc when killed with a deflected fire charge

I have updated my game to 1.21.6 and as I was collecting dried ghasts, I was also trying to get the new “Tears” music disc by killing the regular ghast via deflecting their fire charge projectile back to them but unsuccessfully dropping any. Initially, I thought the disc has a low drop rate, however after searching it up, it apparently has a 100% chance to drop. I have killed maybe 10 ghasts by deflecting their fire balls back to them and not a single disc has dropped.
