i have a friend that has worked so hard on his world and comparently last night when updating from 1.21.5 to .6 and now .7 villagers wont pick up crops like bread or anything event went to another village they do same thing how can this be fixed?

Is mobGriefing disabled on the world? Villagers won’t pick up items if it is.
