Random Brick Blocks while mining

I was strip mining downwards and literally came across a weird thing where there was packed mud, brick walls, brick stairs, and normal brick blocks?? in the middle of the mine, also l encountered white terracotta, vanilla minecraft and all, there was a jungle with oak in it next to a desert near a swamp so i dunno kinda weird world lol
