Minecart Entity Gets Hurt by Inwall When Crossing 2×3 Nether Portal

When an entity rides a minecart through a 2×3 nether portal, it seems to get stuck in obsidian and takes inwall damage on the first tick if I freeze the tick.

Depending on the direction the minecart is moving, the entity takes damage exactly once, either in the Overworld or the Nether.

This issue is reproducible in versions 1.21.8, 1.21.7 and 1.21.6.
