Subtitles/Closed Captions appear over the opened Inventory, which hides the bottom left corner of it and part of the Hotbar. This makes it hard to identify what items are in those slots. This happens while the game is both window-sized and fullscreen. (See images: window and fullscreen)
This issue did not happen in version 1.21.8. (See image: version 1.21.8)
I’ve tried removing the black background (Accessibility Settings, Text Background: Everywhere, Text Background Opacity: 0%), but the text itself still obstruct the Inventory. (See image: no background)
Additionnally, reducing the opacity of the text itself (Chat Text Opacity) makes the captions harder to read whether the Inventory is opened or closed, so it is not a viable solution.
It is possible to hover the cursor over the items to get their name, but it is not as fast or instinctual as simply identifying the item visually.
