Crashing when clicking/interacting with a bee nest

A new bug was found while I was playing.

  • Steps to reproduce the issue
    I don’t know the extension of the issue. But when handling and overall interacting with a bee nest. I’ve found this issue in these situations:

    • Click to hold the bee nest in your inventory.

    • Hover the mouse on it and click one of the inventory slots (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9). (I am talking about the shortcut to swap items in the inventory without clicking)

  • Expected result
    The game will probably freeze and your Minecraft will be shutted down. Giving you an error.

  • Actual result
    My PC follows the expected result. Giving me this error:

    The game crashed: keypressed event handler
    Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Failed to hash minecraft:bees=>dfn[bees=[c[entityData=entity.minecraft.bee dgu@5a690bee, ticksInHive=1743, minTicksInHive=2400], c[entityData=entity.minecraft.bee dgu@91f645e3, ticksInHive=15, minTicksInHive=2400]]]: Unsupported operation; Unsupported operation
  • Solution while waiting fixing
    The only thing that did work without crashing my game was using Q to drop the bee nest on the ground. Then you simply manage a way to put the item in your inventory bar - there is no issue with holding it in your hand, so you can still use it.
