I was working on fixing the position and scale for my models in my resource pack to fit in the shelfs with the new “on_shelf“ display. Everything was working.. rotation, scale.. but when I wanted to edit the translation/position I noticed a problem. The horizontal movement worked just fine but moving it vertical did not work when the items are centered in the shelf, but only when they are placed on the bottom.
Steps to reproduce:
Download the resourcepack in the comment below.
Install en enable it.
Get a stick from the creative menu.
Place one of the shelfs.
place the stick in the shelf.
Get a debug stick and change it from cenetered to bottom, etc.
To test it open minecraft/models/item/stick.json and edit the vertical part in “translation“ for “on_shelf“ display (the middle number).
