I have been unable to craft stairs via the crafting table. Firstly, I tried dark oak stairs, then checked spruce and cobblestone which were all affected. When searching for ‘stairs’ in the crafting table interface, no option comes up, even though I’ve unlocked several types (I’m still early on in my world progression).

I'm playing single player survival, with commands off. The only gamerule I've changed is firetick set to off.
