The texture of wire in tripwire hook models aren't partly transparent like string

The texture of the string/tripwire part of an attached tripwire hook model isn’t partly transparent to match the string/tripwire block. This leads to an abrupt change in string/tripwire appearance once it transfers over to the string/tripwire block. The tripwire hook model does in fact not support partly transparency/opacity at all.
