When I left-click, it sometimes places a block

Sometimes when I’m sure I left-clicked and I’m holding a block, I place the block instead of clicking. It doesn’t always happen. Most game sessions it happens to me none, but if it happens to me once, it happens to me more than once in that session. It happened to me once a long time ago, but it’s been happening a lot more often lately. I think it’s probably something wrong with my computer, but it never happens on anything except Minecraft. I never mine instead of placing, only placing instead of mining.
