When a block is placed when a villager is walking on the block the villager is currently walking on, the block will appear for a split second then disappear, even from your inventory. When walking over the spot, the block is still not present and I am still able to walk over it. I do not know if this affects other mobs, but it affects villagers. To fix this, I quit the singleplayer world and rejoined it after a few seconds, whereby the block had reappeared in my inventory; however my game then lags out, causing this situation where the game is perfectly fine for a second then freezes for a second, and this repeats even when the chunks are already loaded, making the only possible option to quit the game and restart it, from my case from the launcher. The expected result is that the block will not be able to be placed, allowing me to try again. This is annoying when you want to place down a job block like a lectern beside a villager while itβs walking, and the job block disappears. From my knowledge, this bug is also present in 1.21.5. To reproduce this issue, let a villager walk and while itβs walking, place a job block in front of him, causing the block to disappear and after reopening, causing the game to repeatedly freeze.
