For some reason I cannot craft stairs or trapdoors of any type. It may also effect other items/blocks but I have not tested it. I put planks of any type in crafting table in the traditional pattern to make stairs and trapdoors, instead of crafting stairs or trapdoors nothing shows up. The effected blocks also don’t show up in the recipe book either.

I just updated it to 1.21.9-pre3 thinking it would fix it but the issue persists.
We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.
