two players on a ladder in between each other wont be able to get down

me and my friend were playing together and we got stuck on a ladder because were in between each other at the same Hight luckily we mined the block next to us but imagine that but surrounded bedrock would be hard it’s unbreakable and it probably requires one of us to disconnect. this screen shot is the only evidence I got from that.
