This bug was observed on a multiplayer server in version 1.19.2. It has not been tested in newer versions.
While fighting the Ender Dragon, I rode off an obsidian pillar with a normal oak boat (no chest). Boats do not take fall damage, so this should not have broken it. However, when I landed, the boat broke and dropped 3 planks + 2 sticks instead of the boat item.
This behavior was removed in earlier versions of Minecraft and should not occur.
Notes:
Possibly caused by the Ender Dragon’s breath or collision.
Happened once; I am not sure if it is reproducible.

Your Minecraft version is outdated. We only take issues for the latest release and the latest snapshot.
Please update to the latest version as it includes the newest fixes. If you still have this problem after updating, then please create a new issue.
