This version introduced one notable eyesore. Lava a few blocks away from you doesn’t match in color with the rest of the lava creating a very noticable contrast between mip-levels. This presumably is a result of mipmaps no longer being animated. If so lava should probably be an exception.
Reproduction Steps:
- Go to the Nether in 25w41a
- Observe the lava lakes
Observed Results:
- In 25w41a you’re surrounded by a circle of miscolored lava
Expected Results:
- The transition between mip-levels would be seamless like in version before
