Did a backup of my solo world. Performed an action (traded with a villager). Then, not liking the new trade option, I went to restore the backup copy.
After copy/pasting the contents of the ZIP file into the save folder, the trade results are still present.
This has happened twice now, but worked as of about two to three weeks ago. So it’s a regression, probably due to something in 1.21.9 or .10.
I can’t restore the saved game properly. It somehow keeps data that occurred after the backup was made.
I would share the backup file, but since it’s almost a gigabyte now, that’s not practical.
Environment
Windows 10, Java edition, version 1.21.10.
This can be closed. I pasted the data into the wrong folder. Call it a PEBKAC error. (Problem exists between keyboard and chair.)
