This was something I noticed in a previous snapshot as well, and I have not seen it addressed. When going through a normal survival experience in-game, I noticed a bug with shields. From previous versions and what I remember, shields normally are supposed to deflect arrows. Consistently, Iβve experienced arrows behaving differently when deflected from shields where theyβll constantly bounce on the shield, which will constantly take away the durability from the shield, unless I either move backwards to let the arrow hit the ground or if I move forward, which causes me to get hit by the arrow.
Iβve experienced this issue consistently, even when starting up new worlds.
Environment
Around skeletons, but I believe this issue extends to other mobs that shoot arrows (i.e. Pillagers and Piglins wielding a crossbow)
