The Bug:

By using a combination of continuous jumping and mining (achieved through holding Spacebar and Left-click on PC), it is possible to break a block above the player which is out of the player’s normal mining range.

Expected Result:

• The player should not be able to break the block.

• The block should remain unbroken unless the player pillars up and breaks it.

Actual Result:

• The player is able to break the block using any tool, and obtain it (if mined with the correct tool.)

How to test:

• Make sure you are holding your Spacebar and Left-click, or any other key which is assigned to perform the functions of jumping and mining.

• Place a block above the player which is out of the player’s mining radius.

• While jumping, continuously mine the block during the split second when it is in the player’s mining radius. The block will remain in a semi-broken state instead of reverting back to an unbroken state each time.

• Eventually, the block will break and also drop if mined with the correct tool.

• Note: the block does take much longer to break using this method.
