-Saddles on mobs always has been a mess, even more with the newer addition. We have orange tinted saddles and brown saddles. And for some reason, we got a mix of both with the camel husk now ? It’s a slightly darker color palette, it’s not even the same as the normal camel.
-Same thing for the saddle item. It’s orange tinted, but doesn’t always represented itself on rideable mobs.
-We also have cubic saddles (the ones from horses / zombie horses, donkeys, mules, camels/ camel husks, happy ghasts and ravagers) and rounded saddles (pigs, nautiluses / zombie nautiluses and striders), which makes no sense.
-Excluding the ravager (ravagers aren’t rideable and are from pillagers, so it’s okay i suppose), the strider saddle model is attached to the strider model instead of being a layer like all the other rideable mobs.
-Saddles on nautiluses / zombie nautiluses, pigs and striders don’t have the same texture (Examples: The sit on saddles on nautiluses / zombie nautiluses have a 12 by 12 pixel grid while pigs have a 10 by 11 pixel grid). For striders, the pixel grid is 12 by 12, however the texture isn’t the same as nautiluses / zombie nautiluses.
When it comes to the feet holders, the ones from horses / zombie horses, donkeys, mules, striders and pigs aren’t as wide (in length) as ones on nautiluses / zombie nautiluses. Plus, the feet holders for the striders are disconnected from the saddle top texture.
-The gaps between the saddle on rideable mobs aren’t the same. Newer mobs saddles are tighter to the creature, making in look like its actually on top of them. However, i can’t say the same for older mobs (horses / zombie horses, pigs, donkeys and mules (and the strider is its own thing).
-Finally, camels have connected ropes for the rider, but horses doesn’t. I find it kind of strange because they’re are suppose to be the same thing. Goes the same for their zombie variants, donkeys and mules.
I hope this changes, because this was bothering me for years
