i discovered on accident that when you drop a item then switch to a different slot at the same time, you keep a “ghost” verson of the item, while dropping the actuall item, you can use it to break blocks but it instantly replaces the block broken, when picking up the item again, the ghost item turns back to normal, also when switching to a slot that already has something in it doing this bug, that item would disapear but if you press the drop button you would drop the item that was in that slot,
im honestly shocked that this happened as it was a pure accident as i accidently pressed the drop button while pressing the “3” slot key
