[MC-30402] Default resourcepack says "Missing pack.mcmeta"

Default resourcepack says "Missing pack.mcmeta 😞" with red text. It should not say that because this is default resourcepack!

.minecraft/assets/ there is pack.mcmeta file.

EDIT: Probably fixed now.

I'm experiencing it in 1.7.2 and the paulscode seems to be shutting down and they say my system sound shuts down

Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" tab of the launcher.

Click the text, press CTRL-A to select all, then CTRL-C to copy, and CTRL-V to paste in a comment on this ticket.

If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open"

I too can confirm.

I am using MultiMC v.5.0.0.39, 1.7.2 no mods or packs.

The fact that you have MultiMC invalidates your report.

The bug is still here for me, but only with the 1.8 snapshots. There is no sound.

I have this problem as well. Im playing 1.11.2. this may be why my sound isn't working
