Steps to reproduce

  • Spawn a wolf

  • Turn your 'enemy monsters' sound off

  • Hit it in survival mode

  • The sounds will still play, even though the wolf counts as hostile

Maybe is because a wolf isn't a hostile mob, actually he is a neutral mob.

but how about the time when he's hostile

They EVER will be neutral. They aren't monsters so(I think...) the game never will never cosider they like hostiles...

They are not enemy monsters.
