Unbreakable items cannot be picked up into or placed down by a player's cursor when in survival mode or adventure mode

Create an unbreakable item using a command (the item in question does not need to be damageable), then pick up that item into the player’s cursor slot. Make sure this is done while the player is in survival mode or adventure mode (this error does not occur if the player is in creative mode). The game window should crash and you are provided with the following crash message:

The game crashed: mousereleased event handler
Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Failed to hash minecraft:unbreakable=>INSTANCE: Unsupported operation

If an unbreakable item is forced into a player’s cursor slot, via either the item command or by picking up an item in creative mode, then closing the inventory and switching game modes to survival mode, then the same error will occur upon the item being placed into an inventory slot.

If an unbreakable item is placed into a chest, even if the player that opens the chest and inserts the item is in creative mode, then the game window will crash and you are provided with the following crash message:

The game crashed: mouseclicked event handler
Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Failed to hash minecraft:unbreakable=>INSTANCE: Unsupported operation
