Charge attacks are impossible when looking at a mob that's between 3 and 4.5 blocks away

It becomes impossible to initiate a charge attack if you’re hovering on a mob that’s between 3 and 4.5 blocks away from the user. This only happens in Survival mode, and is not an issue in Creative mode. You have to physically look away from the mob for charge attacks to become possible again.
