Too many active large mobs seem to crash the game compared to a lot of active small mobs

Whenever a lot of large mobs are loaded in a world and they're moving around, there's a big risk of the game crashing, especially on multiplayer. This is in contrast to a ton of small mobs being active, who merely lag the game but don't crash it.

This is an odd behavior that may have to do with size impacting performance or needing a higher payload to make the large mobs pathfind and collide with blocks correctly.

It would take work but the game needs to be optimized more or be patched to solve the issues related to the crashes to prevent large mobs from crashing the game to not let the crashing and severe issues impact the game.

Could you please attach a world in which this issue can be observed?

I am currently unable to, but an easy way to see this behavior is either by giving the Giant mob AI and spawning a lot of them either in single or multiplayer, or increasing the size of a lot of mobs with commands. This mob size issue is also apparent with any huge mobs added by mods; if a mod that adds mobs adds a giant mob, only a few can be loaded at a time for the same issues stated in this post.
