i was playing minecraft with fade time set to 0.80 and i saw some chunk fade-in unexpected behavior, chunks were not being rendered with fade-in, however i had the chunk fade-in on but it was like it's set to none and i also checked this on bedrock edition to see if it have the same behavior or not and yes it was only in java edition, i also found out that this could be because this animation is only played when a chunk is going to load not when that chunk is going to be rendered and as chunks are most of time loaded, this feature is almost useless, so at all i think mojang should change this behavior in java edition, also the fade-in use minecraft sky color of that dimension which is so bad mostly in end and i think it should be transparent, and also the fog is not correct because loaded chunks out of fog spherical Vertex are still visible; i think with these two tiny fix minecraft can be much much better.
How to reproduce:
1-make sure fade-in is set to anything except none
2- open a world( you can be in overworld, nether, end but for best the end)
3 go to creative and check the chunks animation and the chunks behind the fog
This is a duplicate of MC-130265, which (to my great annoyance) will not be fixed.
