[MC-304666] Moving at very high velocities (Such as using a riptide three trident with an elytra in the rain) causes extreme lag compared to previous versions.

If I fly out with an elytra and a riptide three trident in the rain my FPS go from approximately 400 to 14 in less than five seconds.

Steps to Reproduce:

Run the command: /weather rain

Grab an elytra and put it on

Grab a Riptide III trident and start to fly with the items. Your frames will (most likely) drop.

Expected Result:

I experience some lag because of loading chunks.

Actual Result:

My FPS drops to less than 20, sometimes even below five FPS.

My system is similar to yours (M3 Max, Sequoia 15.7.1) but I can’t reproduce this. Please upload a video recording of the issue with the debug overlay (F3) enabled and showing the game version and system specs. You can record your screen using the the built-in Screenshot app (shift+cmd+5), or third-party software such as OBS. It is recommended that you trim, convert and/or reduce the quality of your recording so that it is under 10MB, as this will make the upload much quicker.
