Since 1.21.11-pre1 the attack_range component was added, but the announce talks about a min_reach or max_reach but when try ingame that not works… when see the deofuscated looks like the methods use the “range” word but the CODEC show still is reach.
Steps to reproduce:
Use
/give @s minecraft:copper_spear[minecraft:attack_range={min_range:2}]Get the item and select
Use
/data get entity @s SelectedItem
Expected Result:
The output of the last command show the spear has the attack_range component with the changed value
Current Result:
The output not show the component with the change value and fallback to the default values

Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
