The crafting recipe for Copper Grates in the Stonecutter yields 4 blocks, even though only 1 Copper Block is consumed. The Crafting Table recipe consumes 4 Copper Blocks for 4 Grates.
I would expect both recipes to be equally efficient (i.e. the Stonecutter should only give 1 Copper Grate as an output, just like every other full-block recipe in the Stonecutter)

We're tracking this issue in MC-266078, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.
That ticket has already been resolved as working as intended, which means this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
