Nautilus can move their heads, causing extreme clipping and texture holes

The Bug:

Nautiluses will often have their heads stuck in a pose which can cause very noticeable clipping issues, or sometimes will move it in a way that creates big texture holes.

This seems very unintentional as the nautilus does not move its head idley; it seems like its not meant to move its head at all, as the head bend doesn’t match its animations and causes these issues.

Scenario 1:

The most omnipresent issue and affects nautiluses, baby nautiluses, and zombie nautiluses 99% of the time.

When above water, you can see what appears to be their intended idle pose

However, as soon as the go underwater, where they’re meant to be, their heads suddenly snap downwards, causing extremely noticeable clipping and breaking the smooth texture with a big red line

Scenario 2:

When being tempted with food, the Nautilus will move its head to turn to look at it. Sounds innocent enough, until you see that this too causes clipping and even giant texture holes

All of this tells me that the nautilus was not designed to be able to move its head, but does so anyways.

May this be re-opened with just the holes then? That is separate from the head clipping through the shell
