The End flash ambient light color is scaled instead of darkened when the player is affected by Darkness

The bug

When the player is affected by darkness, the end flash ambient light color is scaled instead of darkened.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to the end.

  2. Execute /effect give @s minecraft:darkness infinite 0 true, ensure you have darkness pulsing at 100% in accessibility settings.

  3. Await until an end flash spawns.

Expected result

The end flash ambient light color would be darkened.

Observed result

The ambient light color is scaled, and becomes more saturated.
