This localization issue has existed since the introduction of the Rabbit mob in Minecraft Java Edition 1.8 (2014).
In the German localization, the mob "Rabbit" is translated as "Hase", which is incorrect.
The English term Rabbit correctly translates to "Kaninchen" in German. This is also supported by the item drops, which are named "Rohes Kaninchenfleisch" and "Gebratenes Kaninchenfleisch", while the paw item is called "Hasenpfote".
This creates an inconsistent translation: the mob is called Hase, the paw is called Hasenpfote, but the meat is called Kaninchenfleisch.
To be linguistically correct and consistent, the mob and its paw should be renamed to "Kaninchen" and "Kaninchenpfote".
This issue affects both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition and has existed since the mob’s introduction in version 1.8.
