Mobs Cannot use spears or tridents held in Offhand

There is an inconsistency in how mob AI handles weapons that require a“use” interaction (right-click for players) when they are held in the offhand slot.

Established Normal Behavior:

Mobs such as Skeletons and Pillagers can correctly use Bows and Crossbows from their offhand slot.  However, this logic does not extend to other weapons that also require a “use” action.

Buggy Behavior:

1. Tridents: Drowneds do not throw tridents held in their offhand.

2. Spears: Mobs that should perform a Charged attack (e.g., Zombified Piglins, Husks) do not charge with spears held in their offhand.

Key Distinction:

This report specifically addresses the missing “use” interaction for offhand weapons. It is acknowledged that standard melee attacks (e.g., sword/axe swings, spear jabs) may not be intended for the offhand slot for mobs.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Use the following command:

   /summon minecraft:skeleton ~ ~1 ~ {equipment:{offhand:{id:"bow",count:1}}}
   /summon minecraft:pillager ~ ~1 ~ {equipment:{offhand:{id:"crossbow",count:1}}}
   /summon minecraft:drowned ~ ~1 ~ {equipment:{offhand:{id:"trident",count:1}}}
   /summon minecraft:zombie ~ ~1 ~ {equipment:{offhand:{id:"iron_spear",count:1}}}

2. Observe and compare how each mob uses its weapon in its offhand.

Expected Result:

For consistency with how Bows and Crossbows are handled,mobs should be able to perform the unique “use” action of a weapon (Throwing for Tridents, Charged attack for Spears) when it is held in their offhand slot.

Actual Result:

Mobs completely ignore Tridents and Spears in their offhand for the purpose of their special“use” actions, behaving as if the slot were empty.
