Anisotropic Filtering’s description states that enabling it significantly impacts the VRAM usage, which is misleading.
The difference in VRAM usage is insignificant, I have done testing to prove that. I tested no filtering versus Anisotropic 8x. As you can see in the pictures attached, the difference in video memory usage is ~100MB.
I think the description in-game should be changed as currently it may discourage players from trying it to increase the overall looks of the game with a low cost.
Note:
I haven’t tested the actual performance impact in-game (as it’s also a part of the tooltip) so it may stay the same, even though it probably doesn’t affect performance by much.
Suggested fix:
Change the description in English (US) and clear it on Crowdin to be retranslated.
