The presence of another adult Piglin or a Piglin Brute completely suppresses a Piglin's AI-driven decision to hunt nearby adult Hoglins, regardless of numerical advantage.
Key Specificity:
This bug only affects the specific decision of "whether to initiate a hunt." Other combat AI (e.g., anger sharing/retaliation against players, attacking Wither Skeletons) functions normally.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Spawn one Piglin. Near it, spawn another adult Piglin or a Piglin Brute.
Ensure the Piglin have no “hunted_recently” hunting cooldown.
Spawn one adult Hoglin within their detection range (~16 blocks).
Observe the Piglins' behavior.
Expected result:
The Piglin should initiate a "hunt" and attack the Hoglin.
Actual result:
The Piglin does not attack the Hoglin. It shows no sign of evaluating it as a target while in a group.
Additional Verification:
Remove the accompanying Piglin or Brute. The now-single Piglin will correctly attack the Hoglin.
