Using /place to place certain structures logs "Trying to mark a block for PostProcessing but this operation is not supported" for every non-full block

To Reproduce:

  1. Open 1.21.11 Minecraft Java Edition

  2. Create a new world (use flat world for convenient) with commands allowed.

  3. Open the lastest.log file on the side

  4. Run one of the following commands:

place structure minecraft:stronghold
place structure minecraft:fortress
  1. Check the lastest.log and observe that there are a few thousthand lines of WARN like this:

Trying to mark a block for PostProcessing @ a{x=<x>, y=<y>, z=<z>}, but this operation is not supported.
Trying to mark a block for PostProcessing @ is{x=<x>, y=<y>, z=<z>}, but this operation is not supported.

where <x><y><z>is the coordinate of a block

Additional Information:

  1. Every block appeared in the warning seems to be a non-full block like fences and ladders.

  2. Other structures (like ancient city) that also have this bug, I am not sure about the full list.

Environment

OS: Windows 11 25H2
Java 21.0.8

You mentioned an ancient city being affected by this issue. Does MC-251339 describe this behavior? It is duplicated by many other issues, which are all related to the /place command.

Are log files verbose for all warnings even with a successful structure placement?

Disregard my first comment, unrelated to the issue
