I`m draining ocean above ocean monument with lots of sand and noticed that speed how fast you can place another block after another sometimes slows down. I`m placing sand from top and it drops down. I try to figure it out when this actual starts to happen, but it feels that it has something to do with how much I`ve already placed sand, before I start to take it off.
No mods in use.
Hopefully this makes sense

I couldn`t replicate this in flat world, placed over 4K sand blocks. I re-created my world in creative mode and this happened after I placed just few sand blocks.
After that I loaded my world and managed to record this video
This is happened in local singleplayer game

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
