I would like to report what seems to be a logical issue related to Netherite items and explosions.
Ancient Debris is highly resistant to explosions such as TNT or beds in the Nether. Netherite ingots are crafted from Netherite Scrap, which comes from Ancient Debris. Because of this, it would be logical for Netherite armor, tools, and weapons to also have some resistance to explosions.
However, when I was fighting Withers, I died from explosions and my Netherite items were completely destroyed. This feels inconsistent, since Netherite materials themselves are blast-resistant, and in general Netherite is supposed to be extremely durable.
Currently, Netherite items can be permanently destroyed by explosions, which does not seem logical considering the difficulty of obtaining them.
As a possible improvement, instead of being fully destroyed by explosions, Netherite items could lose durability when exposed to explosions. This would feel more consistent and balanced.

That ticket has already been resolved as Works As Intended, which means this is not considered a bug and will not be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
Additionally, your game and server are modified. Please only report issues that you have verified to be present in a vanilla environment, and make use of the search feature to see whether an issue has already been reported.
