When in a world with no operator permissions, changing the value of the “Chat” option in the Chat Settings screen and exiting that screen does not update the Options screen so that the difficulty option is shown when “Chat” is set to “Shown” and so that the World Options button is shown when “Chat” is set to “Commands Only” or “Hidden.”
How to reproduce:
Join a world where you don’t have operator permissions.
Go to the Options screen and take note of the button at the top right:
If “Chat” is set to “Shown,” the difficulty button is present, since game rules cannot be edited and there are no chat restrictions.
If “Chat” is set to either “Commands Only” or “Hidden,” the World Options button is present, since there are active chat restrictions that the player can view from there.
Go to the Chat Settings screen and change “Chat” to a value with a different effect on the Options screen:
If “Chat” is set to “Shown,” change it to either “Commands Only” or “Hidden.”
If “Chat” is set to either “Commands Only” or “Hidden,” change it to “Shown”.
Press Esc or click “Done.”
-> ❌ The top right button in the Options screen is the same as before.Close the Options screen and reopen it.
-> ✔ The top right button in the Options screen has updated correctly.
Expected result:
The top right button in the Options screen would update when the “Chat” option is changed and the Chat Settings screen is closed.
Observed result:
The top right button in the Options screen does not update when the “Chat” option is changed until the Options screen is closed and reopened.
