Drowned do not seek shade from sunlight

Description

Drowned do not seek shade when burning in the sunlight but will seek water. This is unlike other mobs that burn in daylight (skeletons, zombies, etc.) that seek either water or shade. Drowned also continue to seek water even if they are protected from the sunlight by a helmet. This bug could also be related to MC-305823 where drowned leave water during the day and then burn.

To replicate:

  1. Remove nearby water and provide opaque blocks that act as shade

  2. Spawn a drowned in the sunlight but near these shade blocks

Observed Result:

The drowned does not move into the shade but willingly burns in the sunlight.

Expected Result:

The drowned would seek shade, like other mobs that burn in the sunlight.

I would say that this is working as indented since all zombies do not have a auto preservation instinct when it comes to sunlight

It’s inconsistent that they seek water to avoid burning but not shade. If you trap a drowned in glass (with opaque blocks above it) and surround the cage with water, it runs around trying to get to the water despite being safe in the shade. When it has a helmet on, it still seeks water despite not burning.
