The glass pane "edge" texture is rendered as translucent rather than solid, causing unwanted fading at a distance

Despite the fragments used for the edges of glass panes being entirely opaque, the entire block is handled as translucenrt, rather than only the “glass.png” face texture. This causes an unusual and undesirable fading effect on the rims of glass panes at a distance and may also impact performance.

Attached screenshots compare glass panes to iron bars. Iron bars correctly appear opaque even at a distance, whereas glass panes incorrectly appear less visible the farther you go.

To fix this, only render glass.png as translucent, and have the “edge” instead be solid.
