When returning to the world list after failing to recreate a world, all worlds now display the default icon until the world list is reopened

This behavior was introduced in 25w34a.

The bug

If you encounter an error while trying to recreate a world and go back to the world list, all worlds temporarily lose their world icon and use the default one instead. Once the world list is reopened, the custom world icons are shown again.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Obtain a world that cannot be recreated in the version to reproduce the issue in. For 1.21.11, a world created in 26.1-snapshot-6 or a later version can be used.

  2. Launch the version to reproduce the issue in.

  3. Ensure that at least one world in the world list has a custom world icon.

  4. Attempt to recreate the world obtained in step 1. An error will occur as expected.

  5. Click Back to return to the world list.

Observed behavior

All worlds in the world list will display the default world icon, including those that have a custom icon.

Expected behavior

The worlds with a custom icon would display that icon, as was the case in previous versions.
