While having depth strider and using riptide underwater, the player gets slowed down to the point that riptide almost doesn’t work, while when unequipping the boots and using riptide makes you travel a larger distance underwater. I think that having riptide and depth strider should give you additional distance underwater.
Environment
Equip depth strider boots and riptide trident, go underwater and use riptide. for the longer distance, unequip the boots and use the trident again.
